You will accelerate growth for UCC Coffee across all revenue streams in the Out-of-Home Industry (OOHI) by identifying and winning new business opportunities, covering coffee, commercial equipment, maintenance, and side products, with a focus on high-quality execution and long-term customer value.
This is a pivotal role for a tenacious, results-oriented individual with a proven track record in B2B sales and a strong understanding of the coffee or food service sector.
The Role
- Drive new business growth across coffee, equipment, maintenance and side products within the OOHI channel -including cafés, bakeries, pubs, restaurants, hotels, leisure sites, and other operators.
- Leverage UCC data and insights to identify and capitalise on machine replacement opportunities within the existing customer base.
- Promote and sell new and refurbished coffee machines as additional or upgrade solutions.
- Build strong relationships with new customers through proactive prospecting (cold calling, networking, referrals, lead follow-up & events).
- Maximise cross-sell opportunities across coffee, machines, maintenance, and side products.
- Respond promptly and professionally to inbound sales enquiries, ensuring timely and accurate quotations in line with agreed commercial terms and margin expectations.
- Ensure all customer documentation is completed accurately and efficiently to support smooth onboarding and fulfilment.
- Support new site launches, installations, and promotional events as required.
- Develop and implement a focused new business plan within your defined territory.
- Consistently represent the UCC Coffee brand with professionalism and integrity
- Maintain awareness of competitor activity and market developments, feeding relevant insights back to the commercial team.
The Person
- A self-motivated and tenacious new business hunter with a strong track record in B2B sales.
- Proven success in winning and growing new accounts, ideally within the coffee or broader foodservice industry.
- Exceptional relationship-building and consultative selling skills.
- Highly organised with excellent time management and diary planning abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Energetic, positive, and adaptable approach to work.
- Willingness to travel, attend customer sites, and work flexibly as require.
