Role Overview
We are seeking a data‑driven and energetic Business Development Representative (BDR) to spearhead our outbound prospecting and pipeline generation. In this pivotal role, you will drive first contact with high‑value target accounts, qualify opportunities, and set the stage for our Account Executives to close deals. Your work directly fuels Clinked’s growth and expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Account Identification and Prioritization: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to define Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) and use tools like ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Instantly, or Clay to build and prioritize target lists
- Outbound Campaign Execution: Design and execute multichannel outreach campaigns—including cold calls, email, LinkedIn and social selling—to connect with key decision‑makers and spark engagement
- Lead Qualification & Discovery: Conduct outreach to investigate fit, budget, timeline and needs using frameworks like BANT; schedule qualified discovery meetings or demos for Account Executives
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and customer success to ensure messaging alignment and provide feedback to refine campaigns and content
- Performance Tracking & Reporting: Monitor key outreach metrics (emails sent, calls dialed, meetings booked, conversion rates) via CRM and ABM tools; regularly report performance and insights
- Continuous Optimization: Iterate on messaging, cadences, and tactics based on performance data, buyer behavior, and campaign results
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Strategic outbound sales mindset with strong skills in cold calling, email, LinkedIn and social prospecting
- Proficient in researching accounts using tools like ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM systems and intent platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with an ability to craft personalized messaging that resonates with different buyer personas
- Analytical, self‑motivated, and results-oriented; comfortable collaborating with cross‑functional teams and iterating based on feedback
- Comfortable using CRM and sales tools (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot, Salesloft) to manage pipeline and track performance
Preferred Experience
- 3+ years in a BDR, SDR or other outbound‑focused sales development role, ideally in a SaaS environment
- Proven track record of consistently booking qualified meetings or pipeline via outbound campaigns
- Hands-on experience with ABM or outbound tools such as Apollo, Instantly, ZoomInfo, Clay, Outreach, or Salesloft
