Our team is responsible for the AWS Neuron Compiler, a cutting-edge deep learning compiler stack that powers Generative AI and other advanced ML workloads on AWS’s custom-built ML accelerators — Inferentia and Trainium. These accelerators deliver best-in-class performance and cost-efficiency for ML inference and training in the cloud.
We’re Building a New Core Group Of Engineers In TLV To Drive Innovation In Compiler Technology And Systems-level ML Software. As a Machine Learning Compiler Engineer, You’ll Help Shape The Direction Of The Team From The Ground Up And Work On
Designing and optimizing compiler features for high-performance ML workloads
Solving complex challenges in areas like graph optimization, code generation, and hardware-software co-design
Collaborating across Runtime, Frameworks, and Hardware teams to maximize end-to-end performance
As part of the Backend Compiler Team, you’ll contribute to projects involving instruction scheduling, memory management, parallelism, graph partitioning, ISA design, and new hardware bring-up.

Basic Qualifications
- B.S. or M.S. in computer science or related field
- Proficiency with 1 or more of the following programming languages: C++ (preferred), Python
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 3+ years of experience developing compiler optimization, graph-theory, hardware bring-up, FPGA placement and routing algorithms, or hardware resource management
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
- Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
