About The Role

We’re currently looking for 2 Business Performance Analysts to build and maintain a strong network across the internal performance community, developing a deep understanding of NGET business performance, becoming a Subject Matter Expert for the business. In both roles you will be required to report on business performance, one focusing on report writing and the other more technical building and developing reports in Power BI.
Driving business performance with both an in-year and future years’ performance lens, constantly seeking improvement, you’ll support the business in the clear and transparent articulation of the impact of under or outperformance, identification of risks, dependencies and opportunities, ensuring clear action plans with owners and dates.
You will challenge business reporting to ensure high quality deliverables with accurate, complete, consistent, transparent data and narrative that succinctly and effectively tells stakeholders about our performance.
Presenting information in the most dynamic and meaningful way so that complex information can be easily understood and is appropriate to the audience, you’ll work with the Business Performance community to align with regulatory performance.
You’ll continually drive improvement of the performance reporting process so that it remains fit for purpose, developing quality and insightful reports.
This role is based out of our offices in Warwick, for 2 days per week and can be combined with hybrid working from home.
What You'll Need
With a background in performance analysis and performance reporting, you’ll have strong stakeholder management skills including the ability to challenge.
With strong planning and organisational skills, you’ll have the ability to balance multiple priorities and meet strict delivery timelines.
You’ll be proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
For the technical role you’ll be an experienced Power BI developer, ideally with proficiency in the development of Power BI dashboards including writing custom DAX functions, practical experience in Power Apps, Power Platform, Power FX (Power Platform coding language), SQL Querying.
For the report writing position, you’ll be an experienced report writer able to draft clear, concise, and accurate reports which are presented in a visually appealing way.
Both positions require research and analytical skills, with the ability to use your communication and collaboration skills to gather and analyse data for accurate and insightful reporting. You’ll be detail-oriented and be able to synthesise a range of data points into a coherent plain English message for an executive audience.
What's in it for you?
A competitive salary of £48,300 – £60,000 per annum
