Business Process Analyst (Junior–Mid Level) | Wakefield, West Yorkshire | IT Projects | Process Improvement & Automation

We’re working with a well-established electrical retail & wholesale business (our client) based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, who are looking to hire a Business Process Analyst to support a range of IT-led change and improvement projects.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys getting into the detail of how a business runs, mapping processes end-to-end, and helping teams work smarter through better ways of working and technology.

What you’ll be doing:

• Analysing current business processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
• Working with stakeholders across multiple departments to gather requirements and define objectives
• Creating and maintaining process maps, workflows, and documentation (AS-IS / TO-BE)
• Identifying opportunities for process automation and optimisation
• Translating business needs into clear requirements for IT/system improvements

What they’re looking for:

• Experience in a Business Process Analyst / Process Analyst / Business Analyst style role
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Knowledge of Business Process Management (BPM) concepts and tools
• Experience with process modelling (BPMN, Lean, Six Sigma, or similar)
• Exposure to workflow automation / process automation / RPA (nice to have)
• A detail-focused, analytical approach with a mindset for continuous improvement
