As AXA XL continues to invest in its end-to-end capabilities, the Business Solution Design & Delivery Lead will support cross-functional/cross-BU programs in the solution design and delivery. Building on knowledge of processes and systems, they will partner with business units, IT, and other functions to guarantee the successful roll-out of the initiatives.
The Business Solution Design & Delivery Lead will autonomously shape and own Program-wide deliverables within the BSDD scope of work which can entail the coordination of multiple sub projects or workstreams for large transversal programs for AXA XLs most complex transformation initiatives. This can entail the coordination and leadership of several internal or external team colleagues.
The candidate will be expected to self-direct and deliver solutions on large cross-functional programs. Coordination and program wide leadership within BSDD deliverables and robust stakeholder management is a key component for a successful delivery of this role.

This role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities to guarantee Operational Readiness in our programs of work focusing on:
- Identifying business solutions to various problems through workshops and interviews, conducting analyses and documenting deliverables, manage C-suite level stakeholders to drive the best business outcome.
- Defining and documenting target designs and outcomes for strategic business decisions.
- Applying change management tools and methodologies to drive adoption to enable full benefit realization.
- Providing product ownership expertise.
- Defining processes for continuous improvement.
- Acting as a Business Advisor and guarantee excellent quality in deliverables and documentation.
- Develop close relationship with key business stakeholder of your project which allows you to act as thought partner and dare to challenge to achieve the optimum business outcome.
- Understand interdependencies between different change initiatives and manage them proactively. Own the oversight of multiple change initiatives and develop a holistic change strategy which is targeted to your key stakeholder community.
- Provide guidance / assistance to other key team members assigned to a development role / opportunity.

We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:
Required Skills And Abilities
We are looking for a candidate who has certification and experience in one or more of the following fields:
- Excellent Change Management skills, experience in assessing change impact and delivering change management activities targeted to various stakeholder groups. PROSCI certification a plus
- Excellent skills in Process Definition and Continuous Improvement. Lean/Six Sigma certification a plus
- Solid experience consulting roles, equipped with various tools and techniques for status assessments, solutioning, visualization and implementation of various business problems. Maintain and promote a consultancy background and always drive for highest quality output.
Desired Skills And Abilities
- Significant experience in driving large scale programs covering multiple dimensions (LoBs, geographies, or functions) in the insurance industry and an international environment, coupled with other relevant experience.
- Effective capabilities in documenting and visualizing design decision and progress status
- Solid people mentoring skills, acts as role model and support junior colleagues in project execution
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, acting as a stimulating partner to achieve optimum business outcome.
- Robust analytical/conceptual and solutioning skills complemented with effective social/soft skills. Ability to act as a credible partner to business functions and comfortable dissenting.
