An opportunity for an experienced administrator to join our team in the Scientific Operations (SciOps) department on a 12 month fixed term basis has arisen.
We are currently undergoing an exciting period of organisational change as our organisation embeds our new 10-year strategy. This role will suit someone who brings a calm, flexible approach and who is comfortable adapting to evolving priorities in a dynamic environment.

About The Role
A varied and proactive administrative role supporting senior leaders and managers within Scientific Operations. You will deliver high-quality administrative support, coordinate systems and processes, and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, including the Business Support Team, SciOps senior leadership, and colleagues across the wider organisation.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing calendars for senior leaders, resolving scheduling conflicts and prioritising actions
- Supporting the progression of tasks and deadlines through reminders, planning, and action tracking
- Organising meetings and events, including logistics, technology set-up, and use of AI tools for summarising content
- Coordinating travel arrangements, recruitment admin, and other departmental support as required
- Contributing to process improvements and consistency across the Business Support Team
- Acting as a key point of contact for administrative queries within your assigned area

About Us
The Business Support Team (BST) is at the heart of Scientific Operations, providing administrative leadership and coordination across the department. We are a supportive and collaborative team committed to service excellence, continuous improvement, and enabling our scientific and operational colleagues to focus on their priorities.

- Hybrid working (minimum of 2 days a week office based)
