We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our team on the Isle of Wight as a Business Support Manager. In this role, you will effectively lead a team of Business Support staff and focus on coordinating the provision of data and information to enable successful management of operations.
- This is a hybrid working opportunity with some time spent in the office and other time spent working from home.
- The role reports into the Account Director for the Isle of Wight account.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver leadership, guidance, and information to enable the operation to achieve best practice.
- Work with the central Transaction Services Team to improve processes and resolve queries.
- Communicate with vendors and contract-based staff to resolve queries as they arise.
- Responsible for producing/overseeing the production of accurate and informative business information.
- Interrogate systems to provide insightful data information.
- Streamline current processes to improve efficiency.
- This role may involve working away from home on occasion.
Qualifications
- Degree qualified or equivalent professional qualification (desirable).
Skills
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Confident with the ability to adapt to new situations.
- Ability to act as a support and supervisor to team members.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
- Ability to track and manage small-to-medium projects.
Experience
- Experience in business systems and processes.
- Experience and/or knowledge of SAP (desirable).
- Experience within a business support or senior administrative role with proven experience working on multiple activities.
- Experience working with multiple functions (e.g., commercial, health and safety, finance).
- Broad accounts experience in a large or complex, similar operation.

In a single year we process 300,000 tonnes of waste that is turned into energy. This generates the same amount of energy as approximately 600 million solar panels. Similarly we recycle circa 95,000 tonnes of waste.
