Job Title: Epicor Business Systems Manager (SME – E9 to Kinetic SaaS Upgrade)
Location: Birmingham
Hybrid: 4 day's a week onsite (work from home Friday’s)
About the Role:
My client is seeking an experienced Epicor Business Systems Manager to lead functional improvements and support the upgrade from Epicor E9 to Kinetic SaaS across global sites.
This Group-wide role (80% functional / 20% technical) is ideal for someone with a strong manufacturing background, Lean process knowledge, and ERP expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as Group SME for Epicor ERP across business units.
- Standardise and optimise Epicor modules (manufacturing, engineering, operations, finance).
- Lead workshops, translate business needs into Epicor configurations.
- Support SaaS upgrade activities: UAT, data validation, cutover, training, and post-go-live.
- Promote Lean principles and drive process improvements.
- Collaborate with IT and vendors on integrations, reporting, and enhancements.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong Epicor ERP experience (E9 and/or Kinetic) in a manufacturing environment.
- Deep knowledge of core modules and ERP implementations.
- Cross-functional experience from shop floor to executive level.
- Familiar with Lean practices and change initiatives.
Desirable:
- Epicor Kinetic SaaS/cloud ERP experience.
- Exposure to SQL, SSRS, APIs, or BI tools.
- Certifications (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, APICS).
