About the role


We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst for a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. This is a central role responsible for the administration, integration, and quality assurance of Oryon's key digital platforms, primarily Salesforce and the company website. This individual acts as the primary technical owner for our Salesforce instance while also serving as the quality and integration lead for new digital projects, including our upcoming website redevelopment.


This role ensures that our business systems are not only running efficiently but are also seamlessly connected to provide a flawless journey for our patients and referrers. The analyst will translate business needs into technical requirements, build robust automations, and lead the end-to-end testing for all system changes. By owning both the automation and the quality assurance functions, this role guarantees that our technology is reliable, well-documented, and aligned with our strategic goals.


Responsibilities


Salesforce Platform Ownership:


  • Serve as the primary Salesforce administrator, responsible for all declarative automation (Flows), user management, data integrity, and system maintenance.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to build and optimise automated journeys.
  • Actively identify opportunities to streamline business processes through automation.


Quality Assurance (QA) & User Acceptance Testing (UAT):


  • Lead the end-to-end testing process for all internal system developments (e.g., Salesforce changes, integrations).
  • Develop and execute structured test plans, including regression testing, to ensure system stability and prevent bugs.
  • Act as the final gatekeeper for quality, signing off on changes only when they meet defined standards.


Website & Digital Platform QA:


  • Act as the QA lead for new digital projects, starting with the new company website.
  • Test all user-facing functionality, such as contact forms, booking portals, and user logins, to ensure they work flawlessly.
  • Validate that all data flows correctly from the website into Salesforce and other integrated systems.

Note: This role is not responsible for website design, coding (HTML/CSS), or content creation.


Technical Documentation & Training:


  • Create and maintain a central repository of clear, detailed documentation for all system automations, integrations, and business processes.
  • Develop user guides and training materials to empower staff to use our systems effectively.


Business Application Integration:


  • Manage the technical integration between Salesforce and other core business applications (e.g., Healthcode, Xero, and interfaces to clinical systems like Mach7).
  • Work with internal developers or external agencies to specify integration requirements and test the results.


About you


  • Salesforce Expertise: Strong hands-on proficiency in Salesforce administration and building automations using Salesforce Flows.
  • Strong QA and Documentation Skills: A highly methodical approach to quality assurance, with proven experience writing test plans, executing UAT, and creating clear technical documentation.
  • Business Process Analysis: The ability to understand business goals, gather requirements from stakeholders, and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Experience with Website Projects: Experience participating in a website launch or redesign project, specifically in a testing or UAT capacity, is highly desirable.
  • Experience in Regulated Environments: Previous experience in healthcare, finance, or another regulated industry is a significant plus.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to work effectively with internal teams and external web development agencies.
  • Initiative & Independence: The ability to manage a varied workload, proactively identifying risks and driving tasks to completion.
