An opportunity exists within the UK Industrial Gases Commercial Team for a Business Development Manager (Industrial Gases) who will be responsible for the proactive and profitable sales of our Packaged Gases, CryoEase and Differentiated Equipment/Engineering solutions within their Merchant Sales Unit (MSU).
The Business Development Manager role requires a good general knowledge of the end user markets in particular metal fabrication, food and leisure.
They will be supporting a region that is spread across the South West of England including west from Middlesex/Hants and south of Worcester.
Business growth is expected to come from new customer acquisition via self-generated prospecting, existing customer referrals and marketing campaigns.
In addition, new business will be achieved through the development, support and coaching of the regional retail network (Sales Centres and Agents) working in conjunction with the Retail Relationship Manager.
