Buyer to join our
Enabling Functions team, supporting our
Regional Civils Business Unit based in

What you'll be doing
As a Buyer, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality, value-driven procurement solutions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing tenders and quotations for subcontractors, materials, and services
- Conducting due diligence and commercial checks on suppliers
- Evaluating tender responses and compiling award recommendations
- Negotiating contracts that meet quality and efficiency targets
- Building long-term supplier relationships focused on value, quality, and continuous improvement
- Monitoring supplier performance and driving development plans
- Exploring new suppliers and market trends to stay ahead
- Collaborating across departments to meet HSEQ+S and commercial goals
- Supporting procurement for work-winning opportunities
- Driving sustainable procurement and social value initiatives
Who we're looking for
We’re Seeking Someone With
- Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management within construction or a related sector
- Strong organisational skills and commercial awareness
- A pragmatic yet disciplined approach to compliance
- MCIPS or equivalent (preferred)
- Experience with Oracle R12 (advantageous)
- Excellent negotiation skills and a track record of delivering value
- Knowledge of Category Management, SRM, and SPM (desirable)
