Buyer & Senior Buyer

About the Role

You will take ownership of defined spend categories, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and delivering cost, quality and service improvements. Working cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Finance teams, you will help shape and execute sourcing strategies that support long-term business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Buyer

• Manage allocated spend categories to ensure value, quality and continuity of supply
• Support development and execution of sourcing strategies
• Negotiate pricing, terms and contracts with suppliers
• Monitor supplier performance and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Conduct market research, benchmarking and cost analysis
• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to understand business needs

Senior Buyer

• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives across complex or high-value categories
• Develop category strategies aligned with business objectives
• Identify cost reduction, risk mitigation and value creation opportunities
• Lead supplier negotiations and contract management at a senior level
• Build strong supplier partnerships and manage performance frameworks
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to procurement best practice
