We’re excited to offer both long-term contract and permanent opportunities for CAA B1 Licensed Engineers to work on the iconic B747-400 and B777 at East Midlands Airport (EMA).

📍 Location: East Midlands Airport, United Kingdom

🛠️ Position: CAA B1 Licensed Engineer

✈️ Aircraft Types: B747-400 (CF6 and/or PW4000) and/or B777 (GE90)

📆 Contract Type: Long-term, ongoing — Permanent positions also available

⏰ Shift Pattern: Flexible

🧰 Start Date: ASAP, with rolling starts throughout the year

💷 Pay Rates: Market-leading and recently updated

🛫 Line maintenance and flying spanner duties available

🎓 Engine conversion courses available for B1 engineers on B747

Requirements

Valid UK CAA Part 66 B1 License
Type rating on B747-400 (CF6 and/or PW4000) and/or B777 (GE90)
Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
Valid training certificates: Safety Training + Human Factors, EWIS (Modules 1 & 2), and FTS Level 2

Key Responsibilities

Troubleshooting and diagnosing aircraft systems and components
Performing repairs and component replacements
Conducting inspections and functional testing
Certifying aircraft serviceability in line with CAA regulations
Ensuring full compliance with safety and regulatory standards
