Role: Cables Client Representative
Duration: 28th July 2025 to 30th September 2025, with the potential for further extension.
Location: United Kingdom – Mobilization from Aberdeen, Scotland.
Contract Type: Offshore Rotational (Inside IR35).
Airswift are currently recruiting for a Cables Client Representative for a project in UK waters. This will initially be a short scope covering Boulder Removal works with a duration of 2 weeks however there is likely to be further work on the same project.
Full GWOs and Chester step will be required, ideally candidates should have previous Cables package experience and be able to mobilise at short notice.
Key tasks & responsibilities:
- Maintain an accurate record of all installation activities on a daily basis throughout the execution phase.
- Ensure that all relevant approved procedures and risk assessments are followed by the contractor.
- Ensure the contractor maintains proactive management of safety and quality.
- Prepare and distribute Daily Progress Reports (DPR) as required.
- Review and understand RA/MS and QHSE documents as required before the execution phase commences and keep updated on changes in the documents.
- Attend daily meetings, toolbox talks and any other discussions to ensure that the works are being carried out in a safe manner to the required quality.
- During all defined key activities and otherwise as often as practicable be present as a witness during installation. Access all work areas provided it is safe to do so.
- Participate in safety walks with HSE representatives from Client and Contractor organisations.
- Synergi reporting as supervised by the specific package and project from incidents and from safety walks.
- Daily recording of activities relating to load-out, transit, positioning, and installation - DPR
Requirements:
- GWO courses: Sea Survival, Working at Heights, First Aid, Fire Awareness, Manual Handling. Medical certificate including Chester step. IOSH Managing Safely or similar HSE training.
- Marine awareness qualifications as required by the package role.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience within specific package area.
