Job Overview
The post holder will be responsible for managing weekly clinics for Asthma/Biologics nursing and pharmacy services, as well as managing all aspects of the Complex Airways MDT and related data entry onto the UKSAR database. Beyond this, the post holder will help manage e-mail and telephone correspondence for the service, and support with other administrative tasks from the broader department, such as diagnostic bookings and data quality management, as required
There is a requirement to use local electronic patient systems for bookings, such as ERS and Careflow, for which training will be provided. Procedures will need to be followed in relation to booking appointments, managing patient correspondence and monitoring multiple waiting lists.
You will be required to actively support with improving department performance in the service, by maintaining optimal clinic utilisation, working closely with consultants to facilitate extra clinical activity where needed, and working with the support manager on improvement initiatives to increase the provision of Complex Airways care in the BNSSG area.
Another key aspect of this role will be leading on UKSAR data entry to maintain trust compliance as well as reporting performance for the overall Asthma Biologics service.
