We are seeking to recruit a dynamic and creative Support Worker to work in our CAMHS CORE Pathway.
We are a multi-disciplinary team offering a diverse range of professional approaches, including Family Therapy, Nursing, Occupational therapy. Psychology, Psychotherapy, Psychiatry, Social work, and Mental health Practitioners. We work with young people with who are experiencing moderate to serve emotional, behavioural, or mental health difficulties. As a team we believe that service user participation and feedback is an integral part of the development and delivery of services and supports care which is person centred and inclusive.
This posts is advertised as full time, but part-time hours could also be considered.
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about working with young people who are accessing our CAMHS (Core) Mental Health service. You will have a positive approach to the delivery of care which values working creatively and flexibly in partnership with young people, their families, and professional networks. Your role will be to deliver excellent quality care which empowers children and young people, supports them in their recovery journey and enables them to contribute towards the development of services and care planning.
As a support worker, you will be working within a clinical setting based in our out-patient clinic but also providing support to children and young people within a home, education, or community-based setting.
You will have access to regular individual and group clinical supervision, CPD opportunities within and outside of the service, and the support of a robust and supportive multidisciplinary team.
You will also be required to support the team to ensure the smooth running and organisation of the service, contributing towards research, evaluation, and service development, to ensure care is responsive, effective and equitable.
