An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, enthusiastic individual to join the Cancer Services team as an MDT Co-Ordinator at Liverpool University Hospitals Foundation Trust. We offer agile working for 20% of the week and also flexible start and finish times to support with home life commitments. Cancer Services are committed to staff development, progression and Health and Wellbeing.

The candidate will provide administrative co-ordination and support to a multidisciplinary team within cancer services.

The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, flexible individual with advanced IT, administrative, secretarial and organisational skills. The post holder will be required to have excellent communication skills and an ability to deal with complex situations with service users and clinicians over the phone and in person. Previous healthcare experience is essential.

An ability to work autonomously and to respond quickly to requests is required in addition to the ability to use your own initiative.

The post holder will work with clinical information staff; clinical teams across the Trust, Directorate staff and Support Services, for example, Radiology and Pathology.

The post holder will support Directorate staff in coordinating, tracking and organising multi-disciplinary team meetings for cancer patients. An essential part of the role will be the collection of data relating to the cancer patients journey.

The critical elements will be working to deadlines, investigating the patients’ pathway, having an appreciation of the importance of data quality and managing a varied workload.
