An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, enthusiastic individual to join the Cancer Services team at Liverpool University Hospitals.
The successful applicant will provide administrative co-ordination and support to a multidisciplinary team within cancer services. Advanced IT, administrative, secretarial and organisational skills are essential. The postholder will be required to have excellent communication skills and an ability to deal with complex situations with service users and clinicians over the phone and in person. Previous healthcare experience is also essential.
An ability to work autonomously and to respond quickly to requests is required in addition to the ability to use your own initiative.

The post holder will work with clinical information staff, clinical teams across the Trust, Directorate staff and Support Services, for example Radiology and Pathology.
The post holder will support directorate staff in coordinating, tracking and organising multi-disciplinary team meetings for cancer patients. An essential part of the role will be the collection of data relating to the cancer patient's journey.
The critical elements will be working to deadlines investigating the patient's pathway, having an appreciation of the importance of data quality and managing a varied workload.
