The Cardiac Intensive Care Unit has one current vacancy for a Clinical Educator and is seeking a high performing Nurse to join our dynamic, innovative and rapidly expanding team.
Our until has 12 Cardiac Intensive Care beds, providing top quality, modern facilitators for the management of cardiac and thoracic surgery.
You will be supporting the Band 7 Clinical Educator, Senior Sisters and Matron to empower the team to maintain the delivery of patient focused, compassionate care providing advice and training solutions which meet organisational , professional, and individual developing needs.
The post holder will be responsible for the continued development of evidence based critical care nursing practice within CICU.
They will use their expertise to provide support and act as a resource for senior and junior staff and members of the multidisciplinary team, demonstrating a commitment to Critical Care Nursing and unit philosophy through a framework of Clinical Governance.
In addition, you will be expected to take on the role and responsibilities of a Sister / Charge Nurse and will regularly co-ordinate the unit.
