Location: The Beeches Care Home, Green Lane

We are looking for a dedicated
Care Assistant to join our team and provide high-quality, person-centred
end-of-life care to our residents. This is a deeply rewarding role where your support and presence can bring comfort and dignity during life’s final stage.
🌼 Your Role Will Include:
- Supporting residents with personal care such as washing, dressing, and repositioning
- Providing emotional comfort and reassurance to residents and their families
- Assisting with meals and hydration according to individual needs
- Ensuring residents are comfortable and cared for in line with their wishes
- Working alongside senior carers, nurses, and healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care
- Maintaining a clean, calm, and respectful environment at all times
🧡 What We’re Looking For:
- Genuine compassion and sensitivity when supporting others
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and follow care plans and guidance
- Reliability and a positive, respectful attitude
🎓 Desirable (but Not Essential):
- Previous experience in a care role or end-of-life/palliative care
- Care Certificate or NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or working towards it)
- Training in moving and handling, dignity in care, or similar
