Care Assistant- Days- Carter House Care & Nursing Home, Raynes Park London SW20, Part of The Country Court Family

Hours: Days 33 hours per week, working weekends per weekend (Shift Times 0800-2000)

Carter House Care & Nursing Home is situated in Raynes Park, South West London and is led by the Manager and the highly trained team. The home offers the highest standard of nursing, residential & dementia care in a modern & homely setting.

About The Care Assistant Role

Within the Care Assistant role, you can really make a difference to our residents’ lives. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Helping our residents with personal support and care
  • Aiding their emotional well-being and social needs
  • Supporting residents at meals time
  • Interacting with our residents on a personal level
  • Maintaining and developing the residents care plan to ensure their needs are met

  • About You

    Our fantastic staff are at the heart of our homes & provide vital day-to-day support to our residents, so we would love to hear from those who really do want to make a difference to people’s lives.

    • Be no stranger to working long shifts
    • Have good written & verbal communication skills
    • Able to engage well with the residents and their families
    • Have an understanding of people with Dementia.
    • Experience as a Care Assistant is preferred but not essential
    • Have an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social care or be willing to work towards this.
