Care Companion

We are currently recruiting care companions to join our exceptional team of Care Angels in Godalming and the surrounding areas. This individual plays a vital role in providing emotional support, companionship and personal care to our very special clients in their own home. This position focuses on enhancing the quality of life for clients by engaging them in meaningful conversations, activities, companionship and some elements of personal care depending on the individual clients. The ideal candidate will possess a compassionate nature and a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

We are looking for a variety of hours full and part time.

We will offer you:

Pay Rates:

• £14.50 per hour – Weekday days (7:00am – 6:00pm)
• £15.00 per hour – Weekday evenings (6:00pm – 9:30pm)
• £16.00 per hour – Weekends

Bonuses & Benefits:

• Joining Bonus - £300 for 30 guaranteed hour & £150 for 15 guaranteed hours upon completion of probation period
• Refer-a-friend bonus
• Paid training (£300.00) and ongoing support
• 40p per mile

This role will be supporting our clients in their own homes with both full and part time hours available. Due to the nature of this community role you will need to be able to drive and have your own car.

To become a Loneliness Companion, you will need:

• A Full UK Driving Licence
• Your own reliable car/vehicle with business insurance
• Valid right to work in the UK ** we cannot offer sponsorship at this time**
