iCare Living is recruiting Short Breaks Support Workers to provide high-quality, person-centred support to children and young people with additional needs, offering families planned respite through safe, engaging short break services.

The role involves supporting children to take part in meaningful activities, access their local community, and enjoy positive short break experiences in line with individual care plans.

Key responsibilities:

Delivering short break support in line with care plans and risk assessments
Supporting children to engage in age-appropriate activities at home and in the community
Promoting independence, confidence and wellbeing
Working in line with safeguarding, policies and procedures
Communicating effectively with families and the wider team
