What will you be doing?
- Lead the development and management of Trade Finance and Working Capital products and solutions for EMEA clients (both inbound and outbound)
- Proactively engage with the market—including service providers and fintechs—to stay informed on business cycles, trends, and innovations that shape product development priorities
- Collaborate with GRM offices, regional teams, and Head Office GTBD to create new offerings and enhance delivery of existing ones
- Drive product strategy by promoting Trade Finance and Working Capital solutions, including preparation of external materials such as client presentations and pitch books
- Negotiate and manage documentation relating to product development and maintenance, particularly with third-party suppliers
- Meet individual KPIs as set out by GTBD management
- Support business development activities through planning, sales and marketing initiatives, solution implementation, and internal training
Other Responsibilities
- Ensure full compliance with all regulatory, statutory, and audit requirements related to the role
- Work closely with credit, operations, legal, and compliance teams to improve efficiency and harmonize processes across relationship managers and regional/Head Office GTBD teams
- Stay current with developments in accounting standards, regulation, technology, and ESG trends within the Trade Finance and Working Capital sector
What do you need to succeed? - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5–7 years’ background in product development or management, ideally within Trade Finance in a global banking context
- Strong understanding of products such as:
- Guarantees / Standby Letters of Credit (SBLCs)
- Documentary Letters of Credit (L/Cs)
- Structured Trade Finance
- Receivables Finance
- Supply Chain Finance
- Inventory Finance
- Working knowledge of syndication and risk distribution solutions
Desirable Skills
- Excellent organisation and time management
- Strong communication skills—both written and verbal
- Proven ability to innovate, support change, and solve problems effectively
- Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach to success
- Additional language skills welcomed but not required
