Cashier

Due to continued growth we wish to recruit a Cashier to join our Finance team based at our Head Office in Newry.

Key responsibilities Include:

• Daily reconciliation and recording of cash, cheque, card and voucher takings
• Preparation of accurate bank lodgements and issuing miscellaneous cheques
• Managing and reconciling petty cash transactions
• Supplying stamps, lodgement bags, books and updating till floats
• Providing admin support to the senior company accountant

The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:

• Experience of working in an accounts department in a similar role
• Experience of working on a computerised ledger system
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
• High level of organisation with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
• Able to work well individually and as part of a team in a busy office environment
