This is an exciting time to join our Catering Team for the NHS at Broadgreen Hospital Hospital.
We have a post managing a team of host/hostess who work within our ward kitchens, ensuring that we provide an excellent food and patient experience.
If you are looking for a rewarding role working to support & manage a catering host/hostess team within our wards and you have the following skills please apply.

Manage & support a team with the following
- Regeneration of chilled/frozen food and preparation of sauces.
- Plating and service of cold and hot food items with meal delivery to patients, including service of condiments.
- Probing and recording food temperatures. Recording of equipment temperatures.
- Beverage service to patients. Washing and refilling of patient’s water jugs and beakers.
- To take the patient orders and communicate the requirements to the catering department.
- Ensuring rosters are covered. Allocation of work to catering assistants. Liaise with management to ensure there is a continuation of service in the event of major staff shortages. Priorities urgent requests. Authorise overtime within the allocated budget.
- Carry out staff appraisals
