The Central Licensing Specialist is accountable for the accuracy of licensing administration and records, providing assurance that all staff employed within NATS Operations are licensed in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Principle Accountabilities
- Ensuring all operational & medical licensing data and documentation is accurate, processed within required timescales and meets regulatory requirements.
- Manage licence documentation and records including applicable SRG forms, licence records, expiry dates, medical information and any consequential updates to the appropriate records.
- Proactively monitor and case manage notifications, expiry dates and supporting actions to ensure as far as practicable no licence breaches
- Conduct licence and medical audits ensuring that data is correct
- Prepare various weekly and monthly results for use by key stakeholders
- Manage the relationships with Operations Teams to prevent licence breaches as far as practicable.
Qualifications & Skills
- An understanding of the regulatory framework and licensing requirements for Operations.
- A good understanding of the NATS operational environment is an advantage.
- Must be highly motivated and highly organised both personally and professionally.
- A working knowledge of SAP, Tracer and Power BI would be an advantage
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office including but not limited to Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Ability to influence multi-disciplinary teams within NATS Operations
- Demonstrable attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex data.
- Must be able to work to strict timescales and adapt quickly and easily to changes in tasks.
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work both autonomously and as part of a team, sharing knowledge and resolving issues as a team.
