Brand new unique opportunity for a Change & Engagement Lead
The Change & Engagement Lead will lead strategic change initiatives that drive business transformation and cultural alignment. Responsible for shaping and delivering impactful change programmes, overseeing internal communications, and fostering employee engagement across the organisation. Working collaboratively with stakeholders from all departments to identify change requirements, develop engagement strategies, and ensure consistent messaging that supports adoption and alignment with strategic priorities building a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Strategic Change: Drive impactful business transformation initiatives that align with organisational goals and culture, ensuring that new processes, systems, or technologies are adopted effectively and efficiently.
- Change Plan Development: Translate complex concepts into clear, compelling narratives and impactful change plans and executing initiatives that drive awareness, alignment, and team member action.
- Change Champions Network: Design and implement a change network that supports transformation initiatives and promotes a strong organisational culture.
- Business Transition: Prepare business areas for transition, support moves to new ways of working; establishing and implementing mechanisms to measure and deliver business benefits associated with change projects and programmes.
- Collaborate Across Functions: Partner with stakeholders across departments to identify change requirements and engagement strategies.
- Change Adoption: Develop and implement strategies to minimise resistance, maximise adoption, and achieve the desired outcomes of change project initiatives.
- Manage Communications Team: Lead a small Internal Communications team to deliver effective engagement campaigns and support change delivery, ensuring clear, consistent messaging that supports change adoption and employee engagement and is aligned with the Sharp brand.
- Develop high-quality content: across various formats (written, digital, multimedia) to enhance employee engagement and connection.
- Champion Culture & Alignment: Play a key role in embedding organisational values and aligning teams with strategic priorities.
- Lead Engagement Initiatives: Including the Employee Voice Groups, ESG and Volunteering Programmes and purpose-driven change campaigns
- Stakeholder Identification and Analysis: Conduct stakeholder analysis and develop and implement stakeholder engagement plans, ensuring alignment of activities with other initiatives.
- Operational Benefits: Work collaboratively with the Transformation Programme Manager to ensure operational benefits are delivered and embedded.
- Monitor, Evaluate, and Report: Measure the effectiveness of change activities using data and insights to inform continuous improvement and track the benefits and outcomes required from the change projects.
- Risk Management: Analyse, devise, and implement strategies to overcome resistance to change and raise and manage relevant risks and issues as and when they arise.
- Shape the Future: Be a catalyst for continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability across the organisation.
Requirements:
- Circa 5+ years business change experience.
- Internal Communications experience advantageous.
- Possess a solid understanding of how people move through change and the change lifecycle.
- Knowledge of Prosci and ADKAR methodologies to lead change management implementation and training.
- Experience of working in project delivery teams as a Change Manager, with sound knowledge of management principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal, including excellent listening skills.
- Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences, to establish and maintain strong relationships, and to influence others and move toward a common goal.
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work in ambiguous situations, and resilient and tenacious, with a drive to persevere and succeed.
- An ability to problem solve and identify problem root causes.
- Proven success developing and executing change strategies and communications plans.
- Ability to deal with pressure, prioritising and juggling a large workload.
- Ability to deal with conflicting agendas and fluctuating priorities.
- Experienced in using SharePoint and graphic design tools e.g., Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro), for filming and editing videos and creating digital content advantageous or a willingness to learn
