About The Role
We are seeking a Change Manager who will play a critical role in our organizations technology transformation initiative, leading and implementing change management strategies that focus on people through maximizing adoption, minimizing resistance, and delivering measurable business value.
Working closely with the project team and business leaders, you will assess change impacts, create targeted interventions, and build organizational capability for sustained change to ensure that people effectively adopt and embrace new ways of working. You will leverage both traditional change methodologies and modern tools including AI-powered analytics to drive successful transformation.
You will be part of the Delivery & Change Excellence team, a collaborative group of change professionals who leverage diverse skillsets to tackle Wiley’s most complex challenges and deliver exceptional results. We unite six specialized disciplines: Change Management, Learning Services, Operational Excellence, Portfolio Management Office, Program & Project Management, and Enterprise Business Performance.
You will report to the Director of Change Management and be part of a team of five Change Management specialists.

Job Responsibilities
Develop integrated change management strategies that align with program objectives, ensuring smooth transitions and sustainable adoption of new processes, systems, and technologies
Lead comprehensive impact assessments to identify risks, opportunities, and readiness levels across affected stakeholder groups, using data-driven insights to inform change strategies
Create detailed change roadmaps ensuring alignment with program timelines and milestones, while building in flexibility to adapt to emerging needs and feedback
Perform stakeholder analysis and engagement, developing targeted strategies that address diverse needs and concerns while building coalition support across all organizational levels
Design and execute communication strategies managing narratives across multiple channels and audiences, leveraging both traditional and digital platforms including AI tools for content creation and distribution
Develop resistance management approaches addressing systemic resistance factors and converting skeptics into advocates through targeted interventions and support mechanisms
Build sponsor coalitions and create comprehensive sponsorship strategies, ensuring leadership alignment and visible support throughout the change journey
Measure and report on change effectiveness using analytics and metrics to track adoption rates, identify gaps, and continuously improve change interventions based on data-driven insights
Required Qualifications
Proven experience in change management, with demonstrable success leading complex change initiatives across diverse organizational environments
Advanced certification in change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci Certified Change Practitioner, APMG Change Management, or equivalent)
Experience managing change during periods of organizational transformation and uncertainty, with proven ability to maintain momentum and engagement
Proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership, with strong executive presence and credibility
Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools, including proficiency with modern technologies such as AI-powered analytics platforms and collaboration tools
Experience developing and implementing comprehensive change management strategies and plans across multiple workstreams and geographies
Advanced communication and facilitation skills with the ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences and lead both virtual and in-person engagements
Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools to measure change effectiveness and present insights to stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business, Psychology, Organizational Development, or related field; Masters degree preferred
5-7 years of experience in change management
Experience in the publishing or research technology industries, with understanding of academic and professional markets
Knowledge of project management methodologies and how they integrate with change management practices
Experience with global/matrix organizations and managing change across different cultures and time zones
Familiarity with AI tools for productivity enhancement, such as Microsoft Copilot, and experience using AI for content creation, data analysis, or process improvement
Knowledge of agile methodologies and experience applying iterative approaches to change management
