🌍 The Opportunity
We’re looking for an ambitious Channel & Marketing Communications Manager to lead high‑impact marketing communications across our global business.
This is a hands‑on leadership role with direct line management of two Marketing Communications professionals (UK & US). You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping campaigns, strengthening partner marketing, supporting sales teams, and elevating the Fortress brand worldwide.
💡 What You’ll Be Doing
Bring Our Marketing to Life
You’ll shape and deliver clear, compelling communication plans that support our business goals. Using customer insight and market trends, you’ll create engaging messages and choose the best channels to reach the right audiences at the right time. You’ll lead integrated campaigns for product launches and key initiatives, making sure Sales has the content they need to drive demand.
Partner with Our Channel
Working closely with our Channel Partners, you’ll build strong, effective marketing programmes that deliver mutual success. You’ll manage joint budgets, trade shows, and co‑branded campaigns, while providing partners with the tools, content, and access to training they need to thrive. Building trusted relationships will be central to everything you do.
Protect and Grow the Brand
You’ll ensure our brand looks and sounds consistent across all platforms. You’ll help evolve LinkedIn into a strong channel for thought leadership, culture, and talent attraction, and boost the performance of email campaigns through smarter targeting and creative execution. Alongside the Content Manager, you’ll help deliver engaging content in multiple formats – from video and case studies to infographics.
Deliver Stand‑Out Events
From planning to follow‑up, you’ll work hand‑in‑hand with Sales teams to deliver successful events and trade shows. You’ll oversee logistics, budgets, and execution, measuring impact to ensure strong return on investment. You’ll also support global partners in representing the Fortress brand professionally and consistently.
Work Closely with Sales
You’ll build strong relationships with Sales teams across the business, running joint campaigns and creating sales enablement tools that support lead generation and conversion. By gathering feedback and performance insights, you’ll continuously improve the way marketing supports sales success.
Lead and Inspire the Team
You’ll lead and develop a high‑performing global marketing communications team, creating a collaborative, results‑driven culture. Clear roles, shared goals, and cross‑functional teamwork will be key, as you work closely with Sales, Product, and Executive teams and encourage strong engagement with campaigns across the business.
Drive Delivery and Results
You’ll take ownership of projects from scoping through delivery, managing timelines, resources, and priorities. Staying agile and responsive, you’ll adapt to changing business needs and industry trends, while tracking performance and using insights to continuously improve our marketing impact.
