The Opportunity

Credera is seeking an outstanding Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join its leadership team. This is a rare opportunity to shape and scale Credera’s UK technology offering, with a particular focus on global, customer-facing propositions powered by AI, data, cloud (especially AWS), and marketing technology (notably Adobe and Salesforce).

The CTO will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering world-class technology solutions for our clients, collaborating closely with client teams, and representing Credera's technical vision both internally and externally. The role will report to the Chief Client Officer, be part of the UK leadership team, and work in close partnership with the Global CTO. Based in London, with occasional UK and international travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Shape Credera UK’s external technology offer, with a focus on global, customer-facing propositions (e.g., websites, CRM, customer strategy) underpinned by AI and deep vendor partnerships.
• Lead and support pre-sales and solutioning, owning the process of developing compelling, innovative, and robust technology solutions for clients.
• Act as a senior client advisor and trusted partner, with up to 60% chargeable client involvement in a mix of delivery and advisory roles.
• Build credibility with C-level stakeholders, especially CMOs, CIOs, and CTOs, communicating technical vision with clarity, confidence, and integrity.
• Serve as a visible thought leader for Credera in the market—speaking at conferences, publishing, and representing the firm in the technology and business communities.
• Collaborate closely with the Global CTO and global technology peers to align UK strategy with global priorities and leverage global expertise.
• Collaborate closely with other Omnicom agency leadership on pitches and sales pursuits – bringing the best of the combined agency team to the client.
• Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge, especially in AI, data, cloud (AWS), and marketing technology (Adobe/Salesforce).

You are a polished communicator, able to engage and influence senior executives, and unafraid to challenge in pursuit of the best answer.

You bring:

• Demonstrable experience in shaping and scaling customer-facing technology solutions, with recent hands-on exposure to AI and data in B2C contexts.
• Sector experience in automotive, retail, and/or financial services is highly desirable.
• Experience in a marketing holding company or agency is desirable.
• Deep technical credibility—strategic, but with a strong appreciation for architecture and delivery, and evidence of ongoing technical learning.
• Expertise and/or certifications (even if expired) in AWS, Adobe, Salesforce, or related technologies are highly valued.
• Collaborative, entrepreneurial, and pragmatic leadership style.
• Exceptional integrity and the courage to challenge constructively.
• Track record as a visible industry thought leader and advocate for technology-driven business change.
• Knowledge and affinity for Credera’s core technology domains: data, AI, cloud, and marketing technology.
• The ability to translate technology solutions into clear, compelling business value propositions that resonate with stakeholders
• Preferably prior CTO (or equivalent senior technology leadership) experience, ideally within professional services or large marketing holding companies.
