Kaleidoscope Palliative Care Servicein the
Inner North West Division-- part of the largest community healthcare trust in London.
In this rewarding role, you'll support the running of the Kaleidoscope Team, caring for children with complex and palliative care needs. You'll work closely with the Palliative Care Team, Children's Community Nursing Service, and social care partners to deliver joined-up, holistic support. You'll also help recruit, train, and develop Kaleidoscope Care Workers, and deputise for the Nurse Specialist to ensure continuity of service.

Role details:30 hrs/week, flexible Monday-Friday, with occasional evenings and weekends to meet children's End of Life needs and support the 24/7 on-call service. Nominal base: Westbourne Park, with travel across Kensington & Chelsea, Hammersmith & Fulham, and Westminster.

Main duties of the job
To support the running of the Kaleidoscope palliative care team, for children with complex care and palliative needs, working in conjunction with the Kaleidoscope Palliative Care Team, Children's Community Nursing Team and Social Services.
To support the recruitment, training, and development of the Kaleidoscope care Workers, enabling them to provide care for children at home living in Kensington and Chelsea, Hammersmith and Fulham, and Westminster.
To work within the Kaleidoscope Palliative Care Team, deputising for the Nurse Specialist to provide continuity of service.
