Job Title: Civil Enforcement Officer
Location: Ashford, Kent
Salary: From £29,353 to £31,986 pa (shift allowance included) depending on skills and experience
Job Type: Full time, Permanent
Working Hours: 37 Hours Per Week
Closing Date: 20th July 2025
Join our growing team in Parking Services - If you are fit, reliable and energetic, and enjoy the outdoor life and have the ability to deal tactfully with the public, we want to hear from you!
Primarily you will help in the important traffic management task of enforcing the councils waiting and parking restrictions by advising motorists and issuing Penalty Charge Notices.
The work is varied, interesting and not what you would expect.
You will be required to undertake other Enforcement tasks, evidence gathering for council departments.
It is a requirement of the job to have a full clean Category B driving licence. You must also be prepared to patrol on one of our electric bikes for which full training is provided.
The post holder must maintain at all times a satisfactory report from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
