Claims Administrator (Fixed-Term Contract)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated claims administrator to join our ClaimServices team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable experience in the insurance sector, with the potential to transition into a permanent role and even train as a Claims Handler, depending on claim volumes.
As a Claims Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing essential support and guidance. You will learn the ropes of customer interaction, develop strong communication skills and contribute to a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
· Inbound Call Management: Answer a high volume of incoming calls from customers, addressing their queries, providing information, and resolving basic issues.
· Customer Support: Listen attentively to customer needs, clarify information, and provide clear, concise and accurate solutions or alternatives.
· Problem Solving: Identify and escalate complex customer issues to senior handlers or relevant departments when necessary.
· Data Entry & Record Keeping: Accurately log all customer interactions and details into SiteView in a comprehensible manner.
· Following Procedures: Adhere to established communication scripts, procedures and company policies to ensure consistent service delivery.
· Information Provision: Guide customers through online resources or provide information about products/services as required.
· Team Collaboration: Work effectively within the call centre team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive team environment.
· Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in training sessions and team briefings to enhance knowledge and performance levels.
· Maintain Professionalism: Always maintain a calm, empathetic and professional demeanour, even when dealing with challenging or distressed callers.
