Your role as a Cleaner:

We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking people, who have a keen eye for detail and excellent customer service skills who will take pride in their work and who enjoy cleaning in a variety of areas.

Based at Jubilee Park Campus the main duties for this post include the general cleaning of offices, teaching spaces, laboratories, toilets, corridors, and stairwells providing excellent customer service at all times.

Previous cleaning experience gained within a similar environment and the ability to work independently and as part of a team is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.

Hours of work (please specify in your application which post you are interested in applying/to be considered for):

  • Morning Post: 15 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7 to be arranged mainly Monday to Friday between 6.00am and 9.00am on a 52-week of the year contract basis. Flexibility will be required.
  • Evening Post: 15 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7 to be arranged mainly Monday to Friday between 6.30pm and 9.30pm on a 52-week of the year contract basis. Flexibility will be required.

These are permanent positions offered on a rolling contract, which includes working during term time and out-of-term/student vacation periods. Full flexibility will be required.

The successful candidate for this position will be expected to attend departmental Induction training courses which run Monday to Friday between 9.00am and 2.00pm. Further details will be discussed at interview.
