Job Title: Cleaner (Holiday Cover) Location: Gildersome, Leeds (Postcode: LS27) Contract Type: Temporary - Holiday Cover Start Date: 08/08/2025 End Date: 21/08/2025 Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 13:30 - 18:00 (4.5 hours per day)
Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to provide holiday cover at a site in Gildersome, Leeds. Working under the direction of the onsite Working Supervisor and/or Facilities Supervisors, the successful candidate will help maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for staff, visitors, and members of the public.
Key Responsibilities
Perform general cleaning duties to a high standard across the site
Follow cleaning schedules and instructions provided by the Supervisors
Maintain cleanliness in all assigned areas including communal spaces, washrooms, and offices
Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed during cleaning activities
Requirements
Previous experience in commercial or facilities cleaning
High attention to detail and strong work ethic
Up-to-date DBS certificate (required)
Current CV (must be submitted with application)
Ability to work independently and follow supervisor instructions
Additional Information
This is a temporary role to cover annual leave from 8th to 21st August 2025
Ideal for experienced cleaners looking for short-term work during the summer period
