Linklaters is a global law firm, with 31 offices in 21 countries worldwide.

Linklaters is a people business. Being best in class in the eyes of our clients means that our people must be exceptional.

We look not only for brilliant minds, but for people who will thrive in our environment: people who love working collaboratively and demonstrate the innovative, efficient, agile, entrepreneurial, and responsible mind-set we aim to bring to every interaction.

Ours is an environment of outperformance. We achieve this not with targets and incentives, but by fostering a positive, supportive, fair, and open atmosphere.

We respect and value difference but insist on inclusivity. We celebrate all aspects of diversity and challenge any form of bias. This is vital to our ability to work as one team, with a common goal.

  • Drive cross-selling, initiate new business introductions, and safeguard existing relationships through proactive business development aligned to the firm's goals.
  • Gather, analyse, and share client and sector information, and communicate insights to teams in a clear, actionable way.
  • Manage fee negotiations, support panel submissions, and prepare client presentations and value reports.
  • Engage proactively with clients, building trust and ensuring excellent service.
  • Promote and facilitate structured client feedback, ensuring recommendations are acted upon and communicated.
  • Monitor financial performance and address issues with relevant partners.
  • Harness Salesforce to manage client activities and improve transparency across the client portfolio.
  • Support secondments and use these opportunities to further relationships and share insights.

Your experience:

  • Demonstrable client development experience in legal or professional services.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to spot and secure new opportunities within the Financial Institutions sector.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills; able to develop trust with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, commercial acumen, and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working with data, reporting, and analytics.
  • Experience with client relationship management methodologies and account planning in professional services.
  • Results-oriented, resourceful, and strong in planning and project management.
  • Degree in marketing, business, or a related field; marketing qualifications preferred.
