As a Client Services Team Coach in our South West/South Wales Relationships team, you’ll play a key role in shaping the client experience—supporting your team to deliver with empathy, precision, and professionalism.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll balance day-to-day client servicing with coaching and leadership responsibilities. You’ll be a trusted point of contact for clients and colleagues alike, helping to drive performance, manage workflow, and foster a collaborative team culture. Key Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with clients through proactive contact and outstanding service.
- Support Personal Wealth Advisers with diary management and client engagement, helping deliver great outcomes.
- Handle client enquiries with care and accuracy, maintaining confidential records and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Champion a client-first mindset, always seeking new ways to improve service and add value.
- Engage prospective clients and support them into the advice journey by positioning the SPW value proposition.
Additional Responsibilities
- Coaching & Development: Deliver one-on-one and group coaching sessions, share best practices, and support training needs to help your team grow and succeed.
- Workflow Management: Prioritise and allocate tasks, monitor team capacity, and implement best practices to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Leadership Support: Step in for the Team Leader when needed—making decisions, guiding the team, representing them in meetings and providing updates to senior management.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance processes and client satisfaction, collaborating across teams to drive innovation.
- Escalation Management: Resolve complex client issues with professionalism and empathy, supporting your team through challenging situations.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a coaching or leadership role within wealth management.
- Strong understanding of financial products, services, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving and time management abilities.
- Passion for fostering a positive team environment and driving performance.
