An opportunity has arisen in the Clinical Coordination Team in the Mental Health and Learning Disabilities Directorate.
The successful applicant will provide clinical and operational support and expertise in the Hywel Dda area of Mental Health and Learning Disabilities. The post holder must be able to work autonomously, to ensure the safe and effective running of the Mental Health Services, and ensure effective patient flow.
The service covers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and the post holder will be required to work a variable shift pattern covering weekdays, evenings, nights and weekends.
The post holder be working closely with the Police services and also Welsh Ambulance Services, as well as other partnership agencies.
Base is dependent on successful candidate.
This role will be responsible for managing patient flow issues, staffing problems and the management of clinical incidents and will be responsible for effectively liaising with all partnership agencies.
The successful candidate will need to be confident, motivated and innovative and an excellent role model for the Health Board values. Excellent communication skills are essential for this post, along with a good knowledge of The Mental Health Act. The post holder would also be required to travel between all sites, when required.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
