CLINICAL CODING TRAINING LEAD POSITION ATTRACTING A 15% RETENTION AND RECRUITMENT PREMIUM
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Clinical Coding Department as an ACC qualified Clinical Coder at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust (UHP).
Core duties are the provision of an efficient and high-quality clinical coding training service, as well as meeting Trust deadlines associated with clinical coding.

UHP are currently working towards implementing an EPR system go live July 26. We are currently offering the opportunity for some hybrid working with more options once UHP are fully digital (July 26).
***Preference will be given to internal Trust staff, as well as ‘Priority’ and 'At Risk' status including NHS At Risk staff throughout Devon who are able to display recent relevant experience as dictated by the Person Specification.***
The post-holder will provide support for the improvement of clinically coded data collection across the Trust and will assist the Head of Clinical Coding and the Clinical Coding Training and Audit Manager in acting as a point of reference for Clinicians and other Staff groups.
The post-holder will be responsible for managing and providing clinical coding training throughout the department. To deliver full training programmes together with recommendations to Coders and Managerial staff towards the improvement of clinical standards throughout the Trust.
The post-holder will assist the Head of Clinical Coding and the Clinical Coding Training and Audit Manager in providing advice and support for clinical coding issues.
