Clinical Data Manager / Senior Clinical Data Manager – Oncology (Hybrid, UK)

My client is a full-service CRO focused exclusively on oncology, supporting global trials from early to late phase. We are expanding our UK team and are looking for a Clinical Data Manager / Senior Clinical Data Manager to lead data management activities across multiple studies.

The role:

You’ll lead clinical data management activities across multiple oncology studies, working closely with Biostatistics, Programming, CRAs and Project Management to ensure high-quality, audit-ready data.

Key responsibilities include:

• End-to-end clinical data management in line with SOPs and ICH-GCP
• Acting as Lead Data Manager on multiple studies
• Leading DM study start-up, EDC UAT and validation
• Performing a comprehensive clinical data review
• MedDRA & WHO Drug Dictionary coding
• Developing metrics and reports using SAS/Excel
• Supporting study teams with listings, data trends and sponsor requests
• Database lock preparation and inspection readiness
• Mentoring junior team members (Senior level)

About You

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred)
• 3–5+ years’ Clinical Data Management experience within CRO or pharma
• Strong EDC experience (RAVE preferred)
• Knowledge of CDISC standards (CDASH, SDTM)
• SAS/SQL skills are desirable
• Strong understanding of GCP
• Highly organised, proactive and detail-focused
• Excellent communication skills and fluent English
• Comfortable managing multiple studies and deadlines
