Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Clinical Endoscopist based in Shrewsbury. The Clinical Endoscopist will perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures while ensuring high-quality patient care. The role includes working closely with multidisciplinary teams, documenting clinical findings, providing appropriate aftercare instructions, and adhering to clinical safety guidelines and best practices. Additionally, the Clinical Endoscopist will contribute to quality improvement initiatives and support training and mentorship for other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in performing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for working within multidisciplinary teams
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures and guidelines in clinical settings
• Experience in quality improvement initiatives and patient care protocols
• Ability to coach, mentor, and support training of healthcare professionals
• Degree-level clinical qualification, with relevant certification in endoscopy procedures
• Commitment to professional development and maintaining up-to-date clinical skills
• Experience working in acute care or hospital settings is advantageous
