An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and dynamic Nurse to join our Clinical Haematology team as part of our Anticoagulation / Thrombosis Team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive clinical expertise and be a registered non-medical prescriber.
The successful candidate will be required to work across the entire service, in the hospital and community settings . They will assess patients, plan, deliver and monitor the care of patients on anticoagulant treatment for a range of indications. They will provide advice and guidance to patients, junior colleagues and healthcare professionals.
- Assess patients and plan, implement and evaluate care using specialist clinical knowledge and skills.
- Act as the clinical expert and professional resource to the multidisciplinary team, patients and carers within their Speciality Service.
- Review patients and provide care in the hospital and community settings.
- Provide education and support to patients, carers and colleagues.
- Participate in audit, research and service development within the Haematology service.
