We are recruiting for a
Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist to join our Specialist Forensic Community Team (SFCT) across Bucks and Oxfordshire to manage the service, provide leadership and intervention evaluation.
You'll be contributing and making valuable changes to an ever-evolving service. You'll have a community case load and act as Care Co-ordinator for patients within this. An important aspect of this role is the review of OT interventions within Model of Human Occupation (MOHO) guide to practice and theory as well as developing the input between Community and Forensic Inpatient services.
You'll also play an active role in clinical governance and education opportunities for OT students and apprenticeship placements across Forensic Services, making vital contributions to the development of this profession.

- To take a leading role in the provision and development of the occupational therapy (OT) service to Forensic patients
- Work in collaboration with other services within the Trust.
- Support the OT team to provide an evidence-based therapy treatment programme which meet the specific needs of the patients.
- Contribute to the development of projects and services for the care group in collaboration with other NHS, Social and Community Services, Primary Care and Voluntary Agencies.
- Support the SCFT team Managers/Service Manager/Modern Matron to achieve performance targets for Forensic Services.
- Coordinate clinical governance activities and education opportunities (including OT student/Apprentice practice placements) for OT staff working in Forensic services.
