About The Role
As a
Clinical Project Lead within Abbott Diabetes Care’s Clinical Affairs team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our clinical programs.
Responsibilities
As a
Clinical Project Lead within Abbott Diabetes Care’s Clinical Affairs function, you will:
- Lead cross-functional project teams in the planning, execution, and close-out of clinical trials.
- Ensure clinical support is aligned with the needs of R&D, Marketing, Operations, Quality Assurance, and Regulatory Affairs.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for clinical study delivery using both internal and external resources.
- Manage relationships with clinicians, CROs, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal updates, issue resolution, financial reconciliation, and project timeline tracking.
- Collaborate with internal teams including Data Management, Regulatory, Statistics, and Scientific Affairs to ensure seamless project execution.
- Contribute to the evaluation of new or modified Abbott Diabetes Care and competitor products through clinical studies.
- Maintain focus on key milestones, stakeholder engagement, and compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
Education And Experience
- A degree in Life Sciences or a related field is preferred; however, candidates with strong relevant experience and alternative educational backgrounds will also be considered.
- Experience in the medical device or in vitro diagnostics (IVD) industry is highly desirable; pharmaceutical experience may also be considered. The Opportunity
For our International Finance Division we are currently looking for an experienced individual to join our great team in Slovakia as a
Senior Accountant.
This is a stationary, full-time position and requires daily presence in our office in Bratislava.
Senior Accountant will perform various accounting functions and activities in close cooperation with Accounting Supervisor/Chief Accountant and in compliance with accounting standards and procedures.
What You'll Do
- Post journal entries and accruals.
- Perform reconciliation of all balance sheet account items.
- Review and book travel expense reports and invoices.
- Review and reconcile all intercompany transaction.
- Assist with annual audit preparations.
- Prepare tax returns, VAT reports and withholding tax reports.
- Prepare monthly and yearly statistics.
- Guide and provide support and expertise to junior members of the team.
- Participate in financial standards and policies setting.
- Investigate and resolve account discrepancies.
- Be focused on accounting and tax compliance.
- Perform other accounting duties in cooperation with Accounting Supervisor.
Required Qualifications & Background
- Master's degree in accounting or finance required.
- 3+ years of accounting experience.
- Competency in accounting and tax area.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.
- Fluent Slovak/Czech is a must.
- Good knowledge of English language.
- Strong financial analysis skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work with little or without any guidance.
- Demonstrated ability to support all other departments within the company.
- Stress management skills and ability to prioritize work.
