An exciting new opportunity has opened up for a Band 3 Clinical Support Worker to assist the nursing team in the Ambulatory emergency care department at Warwick hospital.
Ambulatory care is a clinical area which provides same day medical care for patients referred from their general practitioner or streamlined from the emergency department with the view to discharging the same day.
The department provides diagnostic investigations and treatment for a range of medical conditions.
We are seeking a highly motivated and committed band 3 healthcare support worker/clerical to complement our multidisciplinary team. You will be required to work as part of a team to deliver exceptional care to our patients. The candidate must have excellent communication skills and a passion for helping other.
To be responsible for providing confidential, accurate and efficient administrative support to the Ambulatory emergency care team
To take responsibility for answering the phone, taking accurate messages and communicating with the team in a timely manner.
To carry out, with appropriate training, phlebotomy and other tasks e.g. dressings
To use Lorenzo to record the attendance of patients at clinic
