Description
An enthusiastic and motivated individual is required to join our team of full-time Clinical Support Workers. You will be working as part of a small team covering 41 wards on an on-call basis, working closely with ward Nurses, Medical Staff and other Support Staff to ensure our patients receive the best possible care on wards at the Royal Derby Hospital. You will be committed to helping maintain patients' safety, privacy and dignity by demonstrating a caring attitude and want to make a difference to our patients' experience. This role requires working across 7 days a week from 7 am until 8 pm on a 15 week rolling rota pattern.

You will undertake Venepuncture, Cannulation, blood cultures and ECG’s as part of your role. A training programme will be provided for cannulation, blood cultures and ECG's. Demonstratable Venepuncture experience is essential for this role.To perform technical scientific investigations covering several disciplines, involving the processing of blood and other body fluids. You will receive support and advice from Point of Care Associate Practitioners and Biomedical Scientists in delivering this service.
