Purpose of Role
As Reveal continues to grow, Cloud and service billings have become an increasingly vital part of our revenue. This role will take ownership of invoicing, reconciliation, and performance reporting related to Cloud services, software renewals, and hardware warranties. You will ensure timely billing, accurate profitability tracking, and strong collaboration with Sales, Finance, and Account Management teams in order to achieve these objectives.
Your Responsibilities and Tasks
Management of Cloud billings:
UK Police Billing
- Prepare a monthly UK Police billings report, ensuring accuracy of contract charges.
- Liaise with Sales Admin and Finance to ensure invoices are issued promptly and correctly.
Single Tenancy (ST) Billing
- Update monthly profitability status of each ST customer.
- Provide a clear monthly summary of outstanding ST billings.
- Coordonate with Sales/Account Managers to ensure invoices are raised promptly.
Multi-Tenancy (MT) Billing & Renewals
- Maintain control schedule of costs and revenues for all MT customers
- Track and update renewal dates for MT customers as and when contracts are renewed.
- Calculate storage charges and annual licence fees for MT customers.
Controls & Reconciliations
- Reconcile billing data across Azure, Salesforce, and Sage.
Management of Renewals billings:
-Maintain a monthly control sheet of all renewals to monitor the billings performance
-Liaise with Sales/Account Managers to ensure billings take place promptly and accurately
-Help resolve contested items
Ad Hoc Project Work:
-Preparation of analysis/reviews as necessary
-Contribution to provision of data requested as part of annual statutory audited
Your Qualifications, Technical Skills and Experience
Essential
Degree level candidate
Experience of receivables collection
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Advanced Excel skills
Desirable
Experience using Sage and Salesforce.
Understanding of Cloud cost structures (e.g. Azure).
Working knowledge of revenue recognition principles.
Your Personal Skills and Attributes
Sound communication skills
Ability to competently present data to colleagues
Ability to interact effectively with colleagues (at differing levels) across the business
Experience of working in a fast-paced commercial environment.
