Job Title: CNC Miller – Late Shift

Job Location: Portsmouth

Job Duration: Permanent

Shift hours:

Mon to Wed 15:30 PM – 01:30 AM

Thurs 15:30 PM - 23:30 PM

Roles and Responsibilities

• To operate and run CNC milling machines (Bridgeport/Heidenhain control)
• Be able to read geometric drawings
• Have good communication skills.
• Be able to read and use measuring instruments.
• Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
• Documents actions by completing production and quality logs
• Control tolerances given on drawings
• Be able to operate other machine shop equipment performing simple tasks ie. Pillar drills, manual mills

Setting

• Be able to set CNC mills to perform various tasks and operations (Bridgeport/Heidenhain control).
• Setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math.
• Produce first off components at the beginning of production runs.
